I LOVE my brother!
He is severely Autistic and rather anti-social but I love him so much.
These pictures show when I was 8 years old and I am posing on my confirmation day (that is back in the day when they would baptize on Sat and confirm on Sunday).
Back when I was younger Danny and I were buddies.
We loved having pictures taken of us and we would pose for the camera together.
About a year after these pics were taken, Danny went to live at the American Fork Training School and we could only see him on weekends.
Although we lost that close friendship a long time ago,
I still occasionally see him smiling at me and it lifts me up for days.

Aren't family bonds fascinating? How you can love someone so much that you can't even have a conversation with, and he still has the power to cheer you up like that.
On a side note, you look pretty with your curly hair and yellow dress.
Man, your parents were dealt some tough situations with the health of their children. They must be awesome.
you are so skinny! and danny's hair??? I remember I had to work that day :-(
Oh my gosh! That first pic had me laughing so hard!!! I'm still laughing and I will always think of that! My mom says that autistic people aren't really autistic at all...they just read our minds and say what WE are thinking or do what we wish we could do. I love to think that too. I love it! I miss you guys!
