Zero effort went into our costumes this year. I had been so busy getting our house ready for selling, filling out forms and working that I didn't have any clue on what to do for Halloween. We both wanted to be grunge rock fans with Quintin being Eddie Vedder but I had no time to go to savers and no money to spend on frivolous things, such as flannels, shredded levis and old Converse shoes.
So I started to panic at 3:00 on Halloween and walking through Walmart I saw light up pumpkins. This is my actual thought "I think my head would fit in that" Not the first time I have thought those words but that is an entirely different story.
So behold the Pumpkin head McKells
Quintin wanted to be scary and he got his wish, a few kids cried when they saw him.

and isn't that the goal--to make little kids cry. I'm all about easy and inexpensive on Halloween.
Hahaha! I didn't ask because I assumed you bought those at a costume shop! I have a new respect for you Holzy.
