Our Sunday walk

Sunday night Quintin and I were bored and Quintin was stressed out about school.  I decided we needed a little break and we went out for a walk around our neighborhood.  We walked down the street and watched big cockatoos sitting in the tree talking to each other.
They are beautiful birds but they have the loudest most annoying voice.  But when I hear them it still makes me happy.  We walked to the end of the street which happens to be the Clifton Beach.
It was a bit stormy and darker than the pic above but same beach.  We walked down the beach a bit and started heading back through the neighborhood.  As we were walking down another street we started to hear Kookaburras!!
We saw these little guys talking in the trees and they were right above our heads!  If you want to hear the awesome sounds they make go HERE.
I came home in shock and awe that we actually made it!  We accomplished this HUGE goal that at times we almost gave up on and we basically live in paradise!  I love it! I want to share this place with everyone and pics just don't do it justice.

It looks so beautiful. I totally wish we could visit but with NICU bills I don't think we'll make it! Hollz, I am really happy you love it there. I could not be any happier for you. I love and miss you.

You sound like you are having such a wonderful time. Did you take the pictures of the birds or are they from the internet? Because if you took them then you should seriously go into the photo business. I am eagerly waiting for more picts of the house. It looks amazing too.

You guys are so entertaining. Loved the Kuckaburro sp? singing and burt out laughing with the "very mean mall merry-go-round horse" that challenged Quinton to a duel.
Thanks for sharing your paradise and hot days at the zoo. I'm looking forward to a hot day.

I want to share it with you too! I'm so grateful though for all the technologies that we have available that allow us to stay in touch. I love hearing about your life in Australia.

Love you.
