The Accident part 2

The past four days since the accident has been stressful and painful.  I got out of the hospital the next day (Thursday) and was sent home with a sling and some meds that made me puke like nobody's business.  I decided that pain was better than puking so I went off of the pain pills, which wasn't fun at all. Apparently Lortab (a fave of mine) isn't made in Australia and no one has heard of it! So during all of my pain, poor Quintin, who was my maid/nurse, started having pain in his gut and back, we didn't know what to do so we called people in the branch to take us to the ER. So long story short, Quintin has kidney stones on top of everything!  I'm glad that it wasn't crash related but it still hurts him like a son of a biscuit.  Luckily we have had our animals to keep us company and the branch has been so good to us, driving us places, bringing us meals and calling to see how we are doing.  My bruises (I have discovered a lot more) are big and spreading. My mom says I look like a Holstein  cow.

Hollz, I am so glad you are both ok. What a crazy time to go through. And to be so far away from home. Good thing prayers can travel accross the world! Ha. Take it easy, like you have a choice.

Holly!!! Just another reason why you're one of my heros....you have such a positive out look and can find some humor in anything. If the Lord shows His love through trials, then he's pouring it on you!!! I pretty much think you can handle anything at this point:)

Hey Holly this is Joey's wife that you met over Thanksgiving...you are really living it up in Australia!! I am SO glad you guys are ok and that the people out there are taking care of you. What a scary experience, it reminded me of my accident 20 years ago when I was hit by a car while walking across the street. Scary stuff but a miracle at the same time. The Lord does watch over His children. Take care of yourself and we will keep you and Quintin in our prayers.
