The Accident part 3

Woo Hoo all of my pains and afflictions from the accident are all better but let us go back shall we?

A week after the accident my foot got hugely swollen and painful, I went back into the hospital only to find that I had broken not only my collar bone......

but my foot as well.

The recovery sucked, Australia doesn't even know what Lortab is, and just like the food here the medicine is bland also, barely numbing the pain.

Anyway enough complaining. While in the midst of this recovery I went to see my cardiologist because Quintin and a few others had told me that my eyes look extra yellow. After a couple of blood tests and an ultrasound he comes to find that I have cirrhosis of the liver. Well, DUH! I told him that I had liver problems. So I'm changing Dr's because he makes me feel like I am going to fall over dead at anytime. Apparently I'm a complicated case. hee hee :)

After 6 weeks of recovery I finally felt well enough to get back on the job hunt, 30 plus resumes later I still can't find a job. Quintin also cannot find a job. We are hopeful and we are doing everything that we can but it is panic time because we can't live off of saving for too much longer.

But we are still having fun and we are hopeful that things will turn around soon. The next few posts won't be downers like this one. :)
