Clifton Beach is paradise!!

I was lying on the couch today trying to get a nap in but then I got this really cheesy song in my head by Men at work called I've got to keep on movin. I thought about it and I thought that I really do need to keep on movin while I can. I will be spending a lot of time in the hospital in cold Utah and I am in a tropical paradise now. So i got off of the couch grabbed the dogs and walked to the beach. I saw on my 2 block walk so many wonderful things and it filled my heart with joy that Quintin and I have had this opportunity to live in this beautiful part of God's green earth.

Here are some of the things I saw on my short walk:

Rainbow Bee-Eater
Australian Magpie

Agile Wallaby
Common Myna

Rainbow Lorikeet
Willy Wagtail
Sulfur Crested Cockatoo
I sat on the beach and played with my dogs throwing a log into the ocean while Tag ran after it. The log sank but Tag was persistent sticking his head all the way under the water blowing bubbles. I laughed at him while cuddling my little Rick. I have been blessed and no matter what happens I am grateful for this life that I have led, doing things that no one ever imagined that I would do.

Holly

PS. Still waiting for tests to come in, I will keep you posted.

Holly, thanks for inspiring me. And on a totally random note...... do you still have the recipe for those really yummy white chocolate, cranberrie cookies that you brought me one time?
